Our Story

Leaving everything they knew behind, my parents set out on a journey from Sicily bringing only their hard work ethics and family recipes and made their way to Brooklyn, NY. With hard work and perseverance, they opened the doors to their first pizzeria in 1982 on Avenue L in Canarsie which quickly became a staple in the community. Ten years of service, two pizzerias, and three kids later, they moved the family out to Long Island where they opened their third. 

I am now Continuing my own journey here in from Glen Cove To Northport using Nonna's recipes and working side by side with one of Brooklyn's finest, my father. I look forward to making Vito's Restaurant & Pizzeria one of Northport's favorite eateries. Stop in for a slice or let my courteous and talented staff tend to your every need . And on those nights when you just don't feel like leaving home, our trained staff is ready to deliver from our kitchen to yours.
